  • Great food, great atmosphere.

Lovely little (2 tables and a bar) vegetarian cafe serving sandwiches, dips, cakes and soups. Food is mostly vegan (the only exception being the option of cows milk in hot drinks, although dairy-free alternatives are available) and raw food, including interesting cakes and flapjacks. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about ingredients and methods of preparation of the food. Lots of interesting local information and books about raw food, veganism and vegetarianism. We visited on a Thursday lunchtime and there were just a couple of other people in the cafe, the wait for food was only about 10 minutes but I understand that at weekends it can get a bit busier and the wait can be longer. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.
