  • Nice place - great food.

I wasn't sure what to expect when checking this place out. The reviews here at Happy Cow are diverse. Personally, I've had some top quality vegetarian food, and I thought this place was great. The service was really nice and helpful with me...something that is rare in France. If there are servers that are rude, though, then that wouldn't be a draw-back, as 'good' service is a non-French cultural expectation, and one isn't likely to find it much in France anywhere (at least in my experience after living here for 5 years). The banana-chocolate-caramel mouse wasn't good, but the pumpkin soup and main courses we got were great. One also gets a LOT of food. We couldn't finish it all. The prices for a regular plate are between 14-19 euros, depending...and frankly...that is normal for Paris which has a very high cost in restaurants unless one hits a crap cafe. I recommend this place.
