• Cosy and (veg-)friendly place

I´ve been to Ilsetopf twice with our veggie meet-up group and we all liked it there. The first time, which was 3 years ago, they even offered extra vegan options throughout that week. The food tasted good but the way of presenting it could in some cases have been improved upon. We were lucky with the weather and were seated on the lawn just across the small restaurant. The second time around, which was only recently, they were unable to offer additional vegan options because they are short of one cook. Nevertheless we still had several options to choose from. The vegetarian options are clearly labelled and the kitchen team were helpful about finding out the vegan options and made some suggestions for extra options. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We were less lucky with the weather so we had to sit inside, which was just as well because despite the not-so appealing outward appearance you´ll find a cosy rustic interior.
