  • Great Vegan Option

I stopped by here for dinner while visiting Sarajevo and was quite pleased with my meal. In a city with limited veggie options, it was refreshingly simple to get good food here. I was a little bit intimidated upon first entering the place as it looks quite fancy. The staff was well-dressed and the tables had neatly folded napkins atop them. There is no physical menu so I told the waiter (who spoke impeccable English) that I wanted vegan options and they immediately suggested the wok which I agreed to. It ended up being a huge plate of wok fried veggies (mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, zucchini, carrot) in a teriyaki-like sauce with peanuts, sesame seeds and rice on the side. Very good. With my water, the total came to 15mark (sans tip). For how much food I received, the service, and speed I found this to be quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sarajevo looking for a sit-down veggie option. I wish there was a similar option in town serving traditional dishes!
