  • Great food, total life-saver

This place was a life-saver during a few days in Chisinau. I ate here for lunch and dinner all 3 days. The owner's daughter speaks decent English, but she's the only one. She can point out to you which items are vegan. If she's not working, you can point to yourself and say "veganski" (vee-gahn-skee) and that seemed to work OK, also. Food is ultra cheap, if you're coming from the Euro or US Dollar. I tried 8 or 9 different things on the menu, and it was all quite good. Recommendation: potato-filled pies. Get a few for the road, also. It's also fine if you sit here and hang out for a while, considering there were always old men playing cards whenever I went.
