- Popular Falafel Bar
Handy if you are going to Notre Dame, this is a small falafel bar. It is clearly popular as it was very busy. Most people get take-away. There are lots of meat-eaters take-away places in this area and most of the others were quiet while people queued at Maoz - good to see! The falafels are tasty, good crunchy ones, and you help yourself to salad, sauces etc. There's a good range of salads and unusual toppings. The eat-in area is very small and gets crowded quickly. We got a table then struggled to get out when we'd finished! We didn't have any problems with the food - surprised at some other reviews claiming it was greasy etc.
