- Delicious food- try the fish burger!
Everything I ate here was delicious (bar one weird slimy thing from the daily plate which was very small), but I'd particularly recommend the fish burger-it was amazing. I'd almost go back to Kyoto just to eat it again. Service was friendly and the interior was rustic cosy. They have food items you can buy to take home including some baked goods like biscuits. It's on the same main road as Nijo castle (Horikawa Dori, but is a fair walk (there are buses running up and down pretty frequently). Good if you want to build up an appetite though!
