  • Not bad...but my stomach afterward was very bad...

I was so happy to find this place after getting lost for 30 minutes trying to find it (I wish I remembered the exit # from the train to share it here, as that would have saved me a lot of time and effort). The service here was alarmingly slow, but still very friendly. I decided to keep it on the healthy side and got an avocado salad, spinach clear soup, and the "steak kai' (a chicken steak with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies). I also got some ice cream (black sesame, which was fantastic) and a couple of desserts to go (chocolate cake--it was average). Nothing blew me away, but the quality of everything was fine (a bit on the bland side, but I didn't order anything marked as spicy, so that's fine). The restaurant is spacious and welcoming, and the bathrooms are very clean. I left there with a smile on my face, and about 30 minutes later, my stomach was in some serious distress. Shout out to the bathroom at Subway on Sukhumvit for holding me down, or else I would have had a very unfortunate accident out in the street or on the train. After that, I was totally fine, but that has never happened to me before in my life and I don't know if it was the food, the water they served me there (maybe it was tap water?), or a combo of the two, but if I ever return there, I will definitely order with caution and then hang around for an hour afterward. TMI? Maybe. But I couldn't write an accurate review with that major detail. Sorry. Updated from previous review on 2017-05-18
