- THE place to have lunch!
What a lovely place! For the humble price of 25,000 kip we had a delicious "three part" vegan buffet: (1) Rice with maybe 8 different vegetable and tofu dishes, all very good. (2) Lots of fresh herbs and little things that you wrap in big salad leafs, dip in sauce, and eat like fresh spring rolls. (3) Rice noodles, raw vegetables, and a rich and somewhat spicy stock that you mix together to make your own noodle soup. Probably the freshest and best I've had! There is also some kind of jelly or pudding for dessert. Didn't try it though. The setting is simple but nice, and the locals who have their lunch here were friendly, talkative, and helpful (which came in handy since some of the food and the way to eat it was new to us). The dishes weren't always warm, but we found them all fresh (place opens at 11am, we arrived at around 12am). We highly recommend this place!
