More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I can not justify enslaving, abusing, and killing other sentient beings for reasons of mere enjoyment. Living beings deserve (a lot) more respect than that!

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I've been helped a lot by the listings on HappyCow when travelling abroad and really wanted to help people find nice vegan food in the city where I live.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

The summer festivals Boom (Portugal), Tangra (Bulgaria), and OZORA/Sun (Hungary) are wonderful places. As for my home country Sweden, I am very fond of the Gotland island! I really look forward to visiting some Buddhist asian countries (Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan), and I also want to go to the US some day.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Plant milks and tofu in every variety!

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

The Roots of Buddhist Psychology (audio book) by Jack Kornfield. The China Study by T. Colin Campbell. The Radiolab and Freakonomics podcasts.
