- Well Above Expectations!!
We were totally blown away by Plant. We knew Asheville was a little haven for vegan food, but when we visited, Plant was fairly new on the scene so we hadn't read much about it initially. I'm not sure that I expected more than a nice sandwich shop style vegan restaurant, which I would have been okay with. Plant is much more though, it's a gourmet vegan restaurant that would make its mark even in a huge vegan city like NYC. It's a definite must-try.
