The first Gaia place we visited in Kowloon. Didn't realize they have special discount everyday 3-5PM, which explained the queue and the 20+ minutes waiting. We found out about the discount once we got the bill. A Buddhist nun sitting next table understanding our confusion told us about the deal. The food is what we discovered in the following week a typical veg*n food for Hong Kong - slightly blunt, low on salt, many of the dishes using faux meat, which I personally dislike. However, they have enough other options. I loved the bitter melon pancake. After visiting the other Gaia restaurant I would recommend this one as the better of the two.
