  • Sound option for vegan groceries in Logan

This is a reasonably good store for vegans, and they have a range of vegan products from food to personal care. They also stock a selection of organic fruit and veg - if you can deal with the higher prices. Some can be reasonably priced, but don't necessarily match up to the conventional produce in a supermarket. Storing much of the fruit and veg at room temperature doesn't seem like the greatest idea to extend its life or keep it looking good, but that may be a partly financial decision, given it's not a huge part of the store. You can find a variety of analog products such snags and cheese, along with typical health food store fare such as figs and carob powder. They also have several bulk food bins with things like pulses, nuts, and dried fruit. Quite a few products are also fair trade, including some of their own Flannerys label, which are usually considerably cheaper than their branded alternatives. One star off for not being vegan; another off for a variety of factors, from higher - even ridiculous - prices to having nonvegan things in the fridges near vegan ones.
