- Tasty and Fresh
I had read about this place on happycow, and here's my Fresh East review. The restaurant is more cafe style where you order your food at the counter, and bus your own table when you finish. The decor is a mix of old and modern Hong Kong. The location is on the main drag in West Hollywood where the cafes, shops, and bars are frequented by locals and out-of-towners. On the menu, the vegan-friendly dishes are marked with a "V." My husband and I shared the spicy garlic noodles (wheat), the Indian vegetable dish (served with brown rice), and the spicy Korean noodle with tofu (served chilled). Overall, I thought all the dishes were good, though very spicy - so be sure to specify if you'd like a bit less spicy, cuz the noodle is spicy. A good place to try.
