You need to visit Mishus & perhaps also take a good browse around their excellent website. This is in no way a conventional eating place. Local friends of mine like it so much that have almost stopped preparing their own food at home. Interesting menu's. Wide vegan selection. Young & very enthusiastic crew. Inventive sandwich selection at lunchtimes. In their own words - "The food we serve at Mishus is the kind of food that we have grown up enjoying at home, with Indian, British, European and Middle Eastern influences, not too heavy, very tasty and quick to eat!." Yes - I can agree with that. "Mishus Bhaji on the Lock is owned and run by Mishel Hathiram, Mishel set up Bhaji on the Lock in order to give the locals and visitors of Camden a dining choice they did not previously have in Camden, Being a strict vegetarian herself, Mishel quickly realised there were no real options for people who were either vegetarian or vegan to eat out in Camden, at a place which offered Pure Vegetarian food with many dishes actually home cooked combining quality, taste value for money and convenience, this is how Mishel came up with the idea for Mishus Bhaji on the Lock."
