If you visit Puerto Rico, you're going to visit the Camuy Caves. When you do, you HAVE to go to La Morena! La Morena is located up the street from the Camuy Cave National Park. If you are using Google maps, you need to drive past what the map shows to be La Morena, it's in the next parking lot over. We were greeted warmly upon entering and after explaining we were vegan, We were directed to the options available. We ordered the mofongo with tofu and both styles of arepas (similar to Salvadorian Pupusas) along with Tostones and Vegetales Salteados. You CANNOT go wrong with any of the options available because the food is so flavorful! This is definitely not a place to be missed. The service is great. The atmosphere, so positive and the food is some of the most authentically flavored that I have found so far!
