My husband and I dropped by Homegrown Smoker while in Portland after walking around in the rain all day. I was a bit bummed to not have a cozy restaurant to sit down in, but the guy running the stand was super nice and told us about a place close by that we could squat and hide from the rain. The food itself was great. The mac, cornbread, and meatloaf are all a home run. I wasn't so hot on the soy curls.
