- Where the local vegans eat
Travelling through this region on the weekend, I thought there were few options as a vegan until I found this place. On Lake Nagambie, this homely cafe is welcoming and accommodating. Our hostess advised that most items on the menu can be made vegan. The soup of the day was a spicy Thai pumpkin soup with coconut milk, which smelt delicious. They will use separate pans for vegan cooking. After so many choices and some indecisiveness, I decided on the big vegan breakfast, it was great! Regional produce is sourced wherever possible, so there will be seasonal changes. But, you know it is fresh (and has not been sitting in cold store for months) and it is made with such passion. The coffee is excellent, they use Bonsoy. The service is friendly and there is outdoor seating. If you are in the region, drop by. Updated from previous review on 2016-10-02
