• Nice variety

The Natural Living Center has a great variety of vegan and vegetarian foods, particularly if you are looking for packaged foods or supplements. They have field roast sausage, Daiya, great sorbet, tofurkey, supplies for vegan baking, several brands of vegan chocolate (YUM!), and more. It is also worth mentioning that they have a pretty good selection of beer. If there is something in the store that you want, and they don't happen to have it in stock, they will order it for you. The Natural Living Center makes it much easier to cook good meals, and I feel fortunate to live so close to this store in Bangor. I only have two things that I wish they would change about the store. Their produce, although it is all organic, is usually of pretty poor quality. So when I want veggies and fruit, I almost always buy produce elsewhere. The parking lot can be a bit busy, particularly on weekends. However, none of this stops me from visiting the NLC or appreciating all that they have to offer.
