• Pathetic service, not worth my time or yours

I was looking for a local watering hole to bring mates to - even better if they showed the Euro 2016 matches or made decent food - I'd have been there most days of the week. After reading a few places online that they served vegans, I went in all happy & asked if they had any vegan beers or wines to start with. In response, I received a scoff & a snarky comment that "well they don't put beef inside any beers". At the 2nd site, bar loose, I received just as puzzled a look in reply with a less rude "no, of course not" type of answer. I didn't fancy telling the staff how to do their jobs & wondered why a bar would open if they don't know the first thing about the prducts they're selling or what goes into them. Rather than a ton of repeat business over the spring & summer, I have never bothered tasting the food or ever entering back into either place. Neither are "vegan friendly" & should be avoided like the plague. 0 out of 10!
