  • If you learn how to get the food, you'll love it.

As the previous review mentions, the service in this restaurant could be a bit tricky. It seemed to me that the place is pretty much run by one person, so please be patient. :) As of June 2016, this is how I understood it works: - From Friday to Sunday, they open for lunch (12 to 3) and dinner (19 to 22). There is no sign at the door, so when you get to the address you would probably have to ring the doorbell. The cook (a very nice lady btw) will show you the menu of the day through the window (which they also publish on their Facebook account in advance). After you order, you will have to go to a near-by house and wait for your food to arrive. - Other days, they publish the menu of the day in their Facebook, and you have to order before 10am. Then, you can go and pick it up at their address (no eat-in available), or, if you order a certain number of menus and you live in the area around the restaurant, delivery could be arranged. - To order from the large menu they have online, I understood it's preferred if you do it a couple of days in advance, so that they have time to confirm you the order, and you can also arrange with them the delivery. About the food, it is international, with many plates coming from the typical peruvian cuisine, but veganized. The menu is a very good value, and the taste is also quite good. I only found the desserts to be a little bit too sweet; but I think it's the average sweetness when compared to other desserts in Lima. There is no phone number, so the only way to get in touch with Pacchamama is through their Facebook page, or through their storefront. It sounds a bit complicated but if you get the hold of it, I think you will enjoy it since the food is fresh and tasty, and the menu changes daily. PS: We also used their catering service for a party of around 30 people, and everyone, including non vegans, loved the food.
