• Very good food and super veg-friendly

Considering there's no vegetarian restaurant in Tilcara, Bella Flor is a very good option for vegetarians and vegans visiting the beautiful town of Tilcara. Not only because of this, actually, but also because the food is really delicious and very well made. My girlfriend and I had lunch there on March 31st, 2016 after visiting the Pucará, one of the main sights of the town, which is very close to the restaurant. They were offering two dishes as menú del día that day, and one of them was vegetarian, a veggie lentil burger with potatos and salad. Delicious! The price was moderate, but still fair, around 130 pesos ($ 9), especially considering it also included a dessert. We also ordered a big jar of juice for around 80 pesos ($ 5.5). It was a very good lunch and we felt very satisfied in the end. The restaurant's vibe is very nice, with some beautiful paintings on the wall and very nice music. The staff is super friendly, answering all the questions I asked in order to add the listing here on HappyCow. Just a pity it's not a vegetarian restaurant - maybe in the future.
