- Hole in the Wall Gem
I went to Beitou with my cousins and we were looking around for a veg*n restaurant near XingBeiTou Station. The other vegan restaurant was closed for summer holiday, and I was so relieved when we stumbled upon this place! The location is modest, and the staff speak little to no English, but they were very kind and helpful and prepared incredibly delicious food. My non-veg cousins were super impressed with the imitation hong shao rou (红烧肉), and the pesto-like noodle dish was also super tasty.
