- One of the Only Options in Zakopane!
Zakopane is mainly a meat haven! It is a beautiful mountain town with amazing Tatra Mountains all around you. Only not great eats for vegetarians. Nice cakes and sweets everywhere, but for main meals its slim pickings! Dobra Kasza Nasza offers delicious baked dishes, with TWO veggie options. The best is the broccoli-corn baked kasha. You can ask for which kasha you prefer. Buckwheat groats or peal barley. i liked the barley one. They have a choice of grated salads, typical of Polish cuisine. It is in no way a vegetarian place, plenty of meat served there. However, what they do have that is vegetarian is very tasty. If you are Vegan ask for the tomato sauce instead of creamy garlic sauce.
