- Alright, coould be better
Simple Life is a chain store, and as such its not very personal. The food was so so- the curry I had was acceptable but nothing special, whilst the roti was just about inedible. It tasted like they had removed the ghee and replaced it with butter. They assured me there was no butter in it, but it tasted so much like butter i couldnt eat it. The texture was weird and lifeless too, totally unlike roti. The mango salad was quite good. Labelling could definitely be improved- no indication as to whether dairy is used in any of the dishes, and the staff seemed unsure as to what had dairy and what didnt.
