Hi Lanky
Thank You for reponding to my review. I appreciate your passion for vegetarianism as much as I do. I think I haven't been able to describe properly my statements but I agree with you in some points, however please let me straight this out:
- My reviews are meant to bring improvement to the restaurant owner/manager/chef. So sometimes I just have to say what exactly I experienced on the place. We vegetarians and vegans are forgiving because we encourage more vegetarian restaurants to open, but what about the meat eaters? It is hard enough to persuade them to come to try a vegetarian resturant, so if when they are finally convinced and presented with disappointing vegetarian food, what else can we say to them? They would say , "Aha! I just knew it vegetarian food would be this bland and disappointing! You ain't gonna convince me anymore."
- Every business needs profit to survive, vegetarian restaurants included. I know many are struggling financially, so if I were super rich I would financially support every vegetarian restaurant in the world too! But my point was - vegetarian restaurants should be established on the base of compassion, to give convenience to the vegetarian community and the curious ones, so more and more people would be motivated to follow vegetarian diet. But this particluar restaurant, maybe on the day I went in the boss wasnt there and left with only staff who only cared about closing the store as soon as possible, left customers in the cold without apology. And that's wrong.
