- Decent Coffee
I give up. This place has become vegan unfriendly. They charge extra for soy milk with the vegan breakfast, which is way overpriced by Tel Aviv standards, and is served with butter. The coffee is good, and there are some vegan grocery items for sale if you can manage with the Hebrew. But otherwise, I no longer recommend this place. Previous: I was recently at this cafe and was disappointed in the vegan offering in the morning. If you want to just get coffee and a sandwich to go, there is only one sandwich option, and it must be prepared, so if you're in a rush be warned that you may have to wait. If you want to sit down and have breakfast, you do have a good couple of options however. Only for the reason that there aren't enough sandwich options I am reducing the stars I gave this place from 4 to 3. Previous review: If you're heading north on Route 4 (Kvish Geha) in the direction of Haifa, this is a very nice option for a stop off. It's next to a gas station, but is way nicer inside than it seems from the outside. There's a separate vegan menu. Everything here is of high quality and generous as well. You place your order at the counter and take a seat with a device that buzzes when your order is ready. (Vegans: they might give you butter with your meal; if this happens ask for techina instead.) And this place has the best coffee anywhere, even the decaf is terrific. There's lots of interesting stuff for sale in their shop. Some food items in the shop are vegan; if you don't read Hebrew you can ask someone for help.
