  • A welcome find in Luxembourg City

I found this restaurant on Happy Cow and went because it was the only one in the city open evenings. I arrived 6pm but the sign said it didn't open until 7pm. It was still closed when I returned, I almost gave up but telephoned and agreed a reservation for 8pm. As such, I would definitely advise phoning first! There is no menu but the friendly and enthusiastic owner explained what was on offer. I had miso soup, a green salad - both fine if uninspiring - and then a really well presented, interesting and tasty main course. The desert was also average. With water and coffee, the bill was 43 Euros, which is a little expensive for what I had compared to the other restaurants in the city centre - although to be fair, most of those were average. Overall, pretty good - although could do with some small improvements (either more interesting starters/deserts or a slightly lower price). Don't let my criticisms put you off, it was a very welcome find and a must-visit for anyone vegetarian/vegan.
