- A great little shop
Ambar is a large health food store by Turkish standards, and a small one by other standards. They have a lot of your standard grains and pulses, and you can get soy milk and other basics there. They have a very good selection of essential oils there, and every time I have gone, the staff has been friendly and helpful. I wouldn't count on finding the things you usually get back home, but it is worth stopping in. Also, just up the street is a restaurant called Ficcin, which has some veg options and is very good and moderately priced :)
