Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Number 1: compassion. Animals are so beautiful? How could we ever eat them?!?!?! Then when we start to look at the implications of factory farming, the cruelty to animals, bad work conditions, environmental damage, global health implications (resistance to antibiotics, global pandemics caused by mega-viruses bred on farms), and the quality of the food they are producing... Why would anyone want to eat meat?!?!?
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To find places which serve vegetarian food while traveling to countries where vegetarianism is less common; to help others who are traveling to places I have been.
