- Unique bean curd
This place does really well with the bean curd--they're quite creative with how they make it. They use really good fresh mushrooms as well. The menu didn't have as much variety as I'd hoped (but still pretty good selections--just nothing exotic, and Singapore is kind of the place to go to try new dishes). The owner does chat with you a lot (maybe too much?), asking you where you're staying (and saying "that place is too expensive", etc.)--perhaps because I went alone. Note that prices have risen lately (the menu has the old prices crossed out with new prices written in)--most items are now S$9-13.
