- Delicious vegan pizza
The menu of Esperança is varied, they have bruschetta, zuchini carpaccio, pasta, and pizza. They also serve burgers but no veggie option there. They have several pizza doughs available - regular, wholewheat, and gluten-free and practically all pizzas may be requested with any type of dough. They also have many vegetarian pizzas available which will be vegan by requesting vegan cheese. The dough is thin and the ingredients are fresh, making it a very tasty Italian style pizza. It’s a pity that the vegan cheese comes at extra cost, so let’s hope that this will change soon :) They also seem to have some vegan desserts like the lemon sorbet, to be double-checked. Very good option in Bairro Alto. Updated from previous review on 2018-02-15
