I went here at the beginning of February for my birthday dinner for the first time. We had reserved the table and received a friendly greeting, we were shown to our table and there was prosecco waiting for us (something my friend arranged) and the waitress went through the some of the menu with us. All the food sounded thoughtful and considered (and absolutely delicious). I went for the enoki mushroom, tofu, ginger and Chinese cabbage spring rolls with Asian slaw and dipping sauces for my starter. For the main, I went for the replacement for the Banana Blossom dish - which was tofu wrapped in seaweed and miso paste and fried with chunky chips and mushy peas - so so good!! Really substantial dishes and very reasonably priced (mains ranging between about £12-£15). They also brought out a slice of salted caramel cheesecake with candles and sung happy birthday to me. :-) really sweet staff that all wished me a happy birthday when leaving and seemed really lovely and genuine. Had a quick chat with the chef and it's evident how much thought and care goes into creating each dish. I 100% recommend! ♡♡♡
