  • Nice Dizengoff Cafe

Nov. 29, 2014 They have changed the menu a bit. The vegan breakfast now includes a chickpea flour omelet instead of the tofu cubes, but you can try requesting them. I was able to get them today without a problem. This place is on busy Dizengoff Street and offers a triangular shaped menu (the cafe name means "triangle") with 4 marked vegan options. I had the breakfast and enjoyed it very much. The main part of it was fried herbed tofu cubes that were served on a bed of lettuce and quite delicious. I haven't seen this dish anywhere else and it's nice to have something for breakfast other than a chickpea-flour omelet, which has now become standard in Tel Aviv. The dish was served with a nice-size unusual salad that had lentils and quinoa, also there were spreads: avocado, pimento, olives, and techina, and bread, juice and coffee with soy milk. I will definitely go back here. Updated from previous review on Friday October 24, 2014
