  • Unforgettable meal

We have visited this restaurant on our way back to Seoul, and it was the best ending of our trip in Jeju. I ate perilla seed porridge, honestly it was the top (I do still try to cook it the same as theirs, but I have not succeeded yet). My husband had bibimbap which was also anusually good, perfectly balanced taste of veggies, mushrooms and gochujang. We have got typical korean side dishes, plus steamed pumpkin. We asked for some of them after we finished and they gave us more without any problem :) You can order teas as well (herb, green, jasmine, jujube etc). Not only the food is good, but the traditional wooden walls and columns makes you feel like you went back in time. The two sisters running the restaurant are very kind and the older one was talking with us for a while. If we have a chance to visit Jeju we will definetly go to Cha Maru again!
