• Oh my.... those crunchy vegan baguettes...

I have been to Fabio's Astro Vegan a few times and always sticked to my love at first sight favourite: the grilled polenta & fagioli (hard to let go of that perfect mix of textures and balanced taste). But yesterday I chose to break my rules and try their Astro Panino... I just never thought I'd agree with the idea of a vegan sandwich, every one I tried before seemed to lack consistency and left me with a plain and boring experience. Now... Astro Vegan's baguette will shut me up for good. With generous aubergine slices cooked to perfection at the heart of its flavour, a deliciously crunchy sourdough bread... The size of it is just magnificent and if you are not eating it all, take it home and put it in the oven for 5 minutes to allow yourself an enhanced experience of the Astro Panino. These guys know what they are doing. I definitely recommend this to everyone in the area, whether you are vegan or not! Healthy, filling and fun! Updated from previous review on 2018-02-03
