Restaurant (the original) just closed and K Road cafe is the only one currently (the website not being up to date probably) - the one that opened on K Road after Lord of the Fries chain closed and has similar late hours some days of the week which none other vegan places have and for which I am grateful. So many vegan and non-vegan places have shut down in recent years with general market downturn from its heyday. You can order a kale "Cease Her" salad with "chicken" or tempeh and crunchy chickpeas (one of my favorites and I ask for extra crispy tempeh - you get quite a bit as they don't skip on ingredients) or another type of salad with same "meats" or falafel (I ask for crispy again) with option to have it as a wrap, you can order hot dogs, burgers (large duck-like "chicken" with seed buns and cheese-tasting "cheese" hits the spot for me), pizzas (you get large size with free fries enough for 2 for like 20 bucks or a little more - me swapping jalapenos for olives or something else), drumsticks, "fish", cauli wings, polenta fries (I get with a burger instead of regular ones), large portion of loaded "bacon" & "cheese" fries with green onion (for me a nice bargain meal in itself) etc. Those with a sweet tooth can get a fruit shake.The variety is actually quite amazing (fried and not).
