The vegetarian restaurant has a basic English menu (no English spoken). Choose tea carefully (some are expensive). 7 kilometres northwest of Kunming city centre on bus No C63, stop at Bamboo Temple.

中农有机生态素食馆 serves gourmet vegetarian cuisine (English name is Sino-Agriculture). Has a lunch time buffet from 11:30am-1pm, or upgrade to buffet pulus hotpot for additional charge. Located on the second floor of Xingjie Building which is on the corner of the intersection with Longjing St, at 五华区五一路156号兴杰大厦2楼. Entrance is behind the building where you take the stairs to the second floor (elevator does not take you there). A health shop and juice bar can be found on the same floor.
