### Winter-ready Chelsea boots for men A Chelsea boot built for winter without looking like one. The silhouette stays true to the classic, with a clean elastic gusset, a pull tab at the back and a rounded toe with no seams across the vamp. Everything under and inside it has been rethought for cold, wet months. These boots are designed to protect you from snow, slush and deep puddles and to keep your feet warm down to -22°C (-7.6°F). ### Waterproof upper The upper is a waterproof vegan leather made of 100% PU, a breathable microfibre that holds its shape and takes the weather without the surface going dull. Behind it sits a lab-tested waterproof membrane, so rain and slush stay out while the boot still breathes. The boots are waterproof to the lace line and can be submerged, splashed and worn through slush and snow, keeping feet dry. Road salt won't mark or spoil the uppers. ### Warm insulation Insulation is worked into the structure of the boot rather than added as a bulky liner, which keeps the fit trim through the ankle while keeping your feet warm in freezing conditions. ### Grip and cushioning The sole is direct-injected: moulded and bonded straight onto the upper for a fully sealed construction, so there's no seam for water to find. It combines dual-density PU with a rubber tread layer, which makes the boot feel light for something this substantial: cushioning above, grip below, with deep lugs cut into the tread for slush and wet pavements. There's no shank; the cushioned midsole does the supporting, keeping the underfoot feel soft and flexible rather than rigid. ### Comfortable inside Inside, Portuguese vegan suede lines the boot, with a breathable microfibre footbed that wicks moisture away and has antibacterial, odour-resisting and hypoallergenic properties. Underneath is a contoured memory foam insole that follows the shape of your foot, gives light arch support and lifts out if you'd rather use your own. You should find these comfy straight out of the box. ### How to wear it In black it's the winter version of a boot you'd already wear with tailoring: dark denim, an overcoat, a heavy knit, and it disappears under a trouser hem the way a Chelsea should. In brown it warms up and takes stone or olive chinos, an overshirt or a field jacket. You can wear it through a genuinely bad day and turn up somewhere that matters without having changed your shoes.
