The upper is cut from Italian vegan leather with a rich finish you can polish to keep them looking new. The Goodyear welt construction is the backbone of the shoe: a traditional method taking up to eight weeks, 75 parts and over 200 operations to make a single pair. The upper and lining are stitched to the welt, and the sole is then stitched to the welt. This means the grippy rubber outsoles can be replaced by stitching a new sole to the welt at a good cobbler, so these loafers can be resoled again and again. Inside, Portuguese vegan suede lines the shoes. It is soft, breathable and comfortable against the foot, sockless or not.
