Sturdy and dependable, these tactical boots are made with Goodyear welt construction, a traditional method with origins going back over three hundred years. A single pair can take up to eight weeks, 75 parts and over 200 operations to make. The upper, lining and welt are stitched together, then the sole is stitched to the welt. This means the deep-tread outsoles can be replaced at good cobblers by stitching a new sole to the welt. - **Uppers:** Italian vegan leather formed around a classic 9-eye tactical silhouette that laces up close to the leg. You can polish the uppers to keep them looking new and bring out a shine. - **Outsoles:** Deep-tread rubber outsoles in a chunky commando style, stitched to the welt so a cobbler can resole them. - **Comfort:** A memory foam insole over a traditional cork bed is poured into the shoe and moulds to your foot, so the fit and comfort get better as you wear them. - **Lacing:** Metal eyelets run up the lacing with three sets of speed hooks at the top of each boot. The long, extra-strong laces can be worn loose or laced to the top. - **Lining:** Tan Portuguese vegan suede lines the boots for comfort, air circulation and breathability. - **Pull tab:** A large embroidered WVS pull tab helps you pull them on. - **Shank:** A TPU shank gives stability and support through the arch.
