### Product details The 4cm Square Buckle Belt is built around a rounded-corner square frame in polished silver-colour finish, wide enough to sit as a piece in its own right at the front of the waist. There's a real weight to it in the hand, and the softened corners keep it from reading as severe against the strap. At 4cm the strap has the width to hold a line across the waist of a dress or an oversized shirt, and it sits as well cinched over a knit or a blazer as it does through the loops of a pair of jeans. The end is tapered and rounded, so it lies flat and finishes in a curve rather than a blunt edge. The strap is handmade from two pieces of Italian vegan leather, bonded face to face and then stitched through, which gives it its thickness, flexibility and weight in the hand. Lining the front with the same material rather than a thinner backing helps the strap hold its shape across the width while still bending comfortably around the waist. The edges are skived down before they're closed, so the strap tapers at the sides rather than sitting square, and the strap and keeper are double-stitched along their length. The buckle is a heavyweight solid piece cast in zamak, a zinc alloy, set on a folded and stitched end. The pin and frame are made as one solid piece rather than plated over a hollow core. Belts and accessories in this collection are made in the same vegan leather as the brand's footwear, so they colour match exactly.
