We stopped here after bicycling from Smiltine. Had a latte and vegan cake. Enjoyed every piece and drop of our order.

1 vegan option, poor customer service - Edit
They offer one vegan option - a pizza with beetroots and some other vegetables, no cheese. We had a bad experience since we only had an hour and were told the pizzas would take 40 mins max, in the end we waited for an hour, one pizza was burned and although a waitress suggested they made another one, we couldn't wait any longer.
Read moreThey have outdoor seating area which was quite messy. The location is great though, it's just by the sea. If you are going to eat there I'd recommend giving it more time, ordering in advance and going to wait by the seaside.

Vegan pizza - Edit
They have a vegetarian pizza on the menu that can be easily customizable and turned into a vegan one (basically they don't put cheese). The dough is very nice and made from scratch, and the veggie toppings are also very nice. Lovely dining experience altogether.

Delicious vegan pizza! - Edit
This little restaurant is nearby the sea. Ideal location to eat a pizza before going to see the sunset at the nearby beach. We actually wanted to eat at the restaurant next door (Sehr Schön) because that one is 100% vegetarian, but accidentally ended up at Zuikio Daržas (the signs are not very clear and there is a mistake on the map of Happy Cow, Zuikio Daržas is on the right side of Sehr Schön not on the left side). We did not regret it! Although it was quite busy and chaotic and it took quite long before we got our food (45 minutes) the vegan pizza was delicious! The vegan cheese they use is really good! Try it!

Good vegan pizza next to Nida beach - Edit
Really cute little place in the forest right next to the beach that does freshly made pizzas, salads and sells variety of different beers which we tried a few of.
Read morePizza base was absolutely incredible - thin and crispy, so 5 stars for that!
Just a shame there is only 1 vegan pizza option, please add more options guys 😉 This is also a great place to come chill and they often have little concerts, very good vibes.
*Update 30/7/2020 - they now have violofe vegan cheese that they put on the vegan pizza, which is such a great surprise to return to 👍
Pros: pizza base, fresh products, variety of drinks
Cons: only 1 vegan pizza option

They say vegan cheese, but than almost no - Edit
Now they have pizza with vegan cheese, but either they forgot it or I can't taste it. I asked them and they say they put it but not so much.

Great pizzas - Edit
Not an exclusively veggy place, but have a good selection of vegetarian pizzas, one of which can be made vegan (without cheese with more vegetables). We had the beetroot feta pizza (yum), the Gorgonzola walnut pizza (yum) and the vegetable pizza made vegan (super yum!). Really nice thin crust and original toppings. Also serve nice local beer. The staff were super friendly too. Dog friendly.
