A good vegetarian option if you’re around Smithfield. Has a few vegan options.
Read moreThe vegan burrito and vegan breakfast are very good. The vegan burrito though, which I had twice, was never hot or toasted enough. The tortilla seemed raw. I made a comment about it the second time, but they served it just like the first time. They also served it without nachos and guacamole like the first time, and I was charged the same as the full meal, which I didn’t find fair.
One more thing: I get businesses were struggling during the pandemic, but you don’t charge customers TWICE if there was a misunderstanding/honest mistake regarding a drink or meal. I ordered a latte once which was made with regular milk. I called the waitress as soon as I noticed that I never specified (and they never asked if I wanted regular or PB, which they should, since they offer both options) that I wanted plant based milk it. She said that was no problem at all, that she didn’t specify either. I got a new one... but when we asked for the bill, I was charged twice. Not fair at all.

Nice lunch and coffee - Edit
I ordered the vegan version of the guacamole toast but they were out so I got the breakfast burrito (vegan version) and an americano. You order at the counter. The coffee was really nice. I enjoyed the burrito too. Lots of flavour and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything going for the vegan option. Staff were nice.
Read moreThe thing that did frustrate me was that all items were default vegetarian (except one) and you had to request the vegan version. If I could, I’d take half a star off for that. But then it is a vegetarian cafe I suppose. It just seems unusual now.

Cute Cafe, Average Food - Edit
Really cute cafe with lovely staff. I had the guac toast (vegan) and a vegan croissant. Both were average. Nothing to complain about but not a place I’d go out of my way to try.

Breakfast - Edit
We had the breakfast burrito and the Fully Woke. The bread was amazing, the other parts of the breakfast were definitely different than expected but good. milk alternatives: coconut, oat, almond. Would try the vegan croissant next time, saw it too late😒

Get the breakfast burrito - Edit
I got the vegan breakfast burrito and both the vegan apricot croissant and vegan mixed berry croissant. The burrito has so much flavor. It's also filing. Get the apricot croissant (it's better than the mixed berry).

Nice coffee - Edit
The coffee was great, the food was a bit bland. Everything needed a bit more salt and seasoning. The texture of the vegan sausage was a spongy bread. I wanted to love it but it needed more flavour.

Vegan, Tasty and Friendly! - Edit
Cute little vegan / vegetarian shop with a pretty good selection of coffee, pastries and breakfast/lunch options. The service is fantastic and the team is very happy to recommend dishes they enjoy!
Read moreI got the breakfast vegan wrap and a sausage roll. Both were pretty good! The only thing that would have made it a tad tastier is if the sausages were a bit more crispy/firm. But that is far from a breaking point - still liked it regardless! Whatever they use as a vegan egg substitute is different than most places which was nice for a change!
Pros: Great selection of vegan options , Cozy , Great service

Great spot with friendly staff - Edit
WokeCup has a great selection of grab and go sweet bites (including vegan pastries!) and hearty sit-down veggie meals such as the Fully Woke breakfast. The hot drink selection is also wonderful I come here now and then and am always thrilled with whatever I order. The staff are also always lovely.

Fabolous place - Edit
Went in this cozy place few days ago for lunch and all I can say is WOW. My sister ordered falafel wrap and she was thrilled with mango & chili salsa and beetroot hummus, while I went for breakfast wrap and sausage ( vegan ) is a must try . They say its a secret spicy recipe . At the end we tried coffee and snickers (vegan of course) and it is super tasty. I will return with more space in my belly next time.

Short menu but should be something there to please you. The elderberry pastry I had was divine. Not much seating at ground level and the basement, although they have tried to do something with it, is noisy, musty and uncomfortable. I also have no idea why, when someone orders a vegan pastry and a black coffee, you would bring them dairy milk with it without even asking. Seriously, stop it.

Fully Vegetarian, great variety and so much flavor! - Edit
I tried the fully awoke and really was full at the end. Also tried the avocado toast another day and it was delicious and the perfect portion to let me try a pastry as well. They don’t have their own wifi but there is some nearby I was able to pick up. Restroom available and more seating downstairs but they are hesitant to open and would rather you share a table with others first. Lovely kind staff and food is fresh and full of flavor.

Best Veggie food in Town - Edit
I love this place so much. They have vegan and veggie options with dishes like the Fully Woke, Breakfast Burrito and fluffy blueberry pancakes. The coffee is really good too and I had mine with a chocolate brownie. They bake their own vegan muffins and also do mixed berry scones fresh every morning. The staff really care and there's an effortless warm vibe about the place. Great independent, meat-free addition to the North side :-)
