The best vegan option in Interlaken - Edit
The Velo cafe is your go to option as vegan visiting Interlaken and actually the only place not serving meat. They have a small but decent selection of bagels, salads and wraps, really liked the salmon carrot bagel and the avocado toast. Unfortunately they only serve bowls and salads on weekends as well as the cold brew coffee 🤷🏼♀️ The restaurant itself is located very central and also quite popular, be prepared to wait a while and turn a blind eye on the service staff being friendly but a bit tensed. Also be prepared for options being sold out quite early

Great place to have a bite or a drink after a long hike in the Jungfrau Region (it's just 5min from Interlaken West Train station, but they close pretty early in the evenings). Velo cafe has a lot vegan options to enjoy indoors, on their terrace or on the go. I tried their savoury vegan BBQ Pulled Pork Pita (Asian style BBQ vegan pulled pork, Spring Onions, Lettuce, Cucumber and Sesame seeds) CHF 14.50.-

I went with my friends sunday afternoon. Not all things were available to order because of the time we got tere. But still there were enough options. Some warm and cold dishes and deserts. The cafe is very sweet decorated and super comfy and chilled out. I liked the vibes and obviously the fact that it's a vegetarian/vegan cafe.

Food was better than expected, especially the vegan falafel wrap - it was not your typical wrap and was very tasty! the daily soup was warm and comforting. Only bad thing is they don’t have too many vegan options, it depends on the day.

As they clearly state, they're vegetarian, not vegan. They had only one marked vegan pastry when I got there, a mediocre matcha bar. Since HappyCow is a vegan platform, I can't give them more than two stars. Pity, the atmosphere is quite welcoming.

We had the falafel wrap and roasted veg pie, then chocolate mousse. All were very tasty and good value for money. The owner was very friendly and the atmosphere sitting outside was perfect.
