Vegan options marked. The focaccia as well as the VLT sandwich we ordered were simply fantastic. For dessert, we almost couldn't decide. We ate the excellent vegan cheesecake and took a delicious muffin for the road. If our stay had been longer, we would have tried the whole menu on daily visits.

Found this vegetarian place through Happy Cow and it was generally pretty good. Some really good Vegan options, the Tacos were really good, Avo on toast with vegan feta quite possibly the prettiest avo on toast I've ever seen or eaten! The Warm Buddha Bowl was delicious but I thought the yoghurt tasted a bit too real, completely my mistake as it's not listed as Vegan, the beetroot falafel were good and the salad as good as it looked and compared to the lacklustre salad I had at a place in the Michelin guide the day before it was much better.
Read moreI've only given four stars as the cake pictured I was told was vegan, yet two days later the same looking cake wasn't? Confusing, maybe made by a different chef or the bakery delivered one that was veggie. Service was happy and the place had a nice vibe, there's not much choice in Interlaken unless you like Indian food. 8/10.

Gives off Melbourne cafe vibe, lots of vegan options on the menu and they are clearly marked. I got the club sandwich with Planted chicken (vegan) and paprika chips on the side and it was nice! The coffee was also quite good and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Das Velo Café & Bar in Interlaken hat mir wirklich gut gefallen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, und es gibt auch für Veganer ein paar tolle Optionen, die richtig gut schmecken. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Außerdem ist die Location schön zentral gelegen, was sehr praktisch ist. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ort – von mir gibt’s 4 von 5 Sternen.

We came three times over three days as there weren't many options to choose from in Interlaken! We had a great time each visit, staff are friendly and food/drinks come out quick once they are ordered. The vegan cheese cake, avocado and vegan feta toast and the banana bread breakfast dish were all delicious. Unfortunately we weren't able to try lunch as that only started at 12.

I had a great experience here, the server was very friendly and the food delicious. Plenty of vegan options on the menu and over half the counter options were vegan. There didn’t seem to be many vegan-friendly places to have breakfast in Interlaken so we were happy to find Velo!

I had the falafel wrap. I wanted to order the Buddha bowl, but it was not available. The falafel wrap was warm, and the outside was pretty crispy, which was kinda nice. There are not many vegan restaurants at interlaken, so this is the best choice out there.

A brilliant vegetarian and vegan cafe in the town centre. We visited numerous times during our week in Interlaken and enjoyed almost the whole menu! The breakfast sandwich and mango smoothie bowl were perfect to start the day, and then the vegan club sandwich was great for lunch!

The cafe has a nice atmosphere and the food is great. They have many vegan options. We had the Gyros wrap and the Warm Buddha Bowl with Beetroot Falafel. Both were delicious 😋

I got the vegan sandwich and it was delicious. My companion got the beetroot falafel salad and she said hers was also delicious. We shared the vegan cheesecake and it was amazing! Finally we also got vegan blueberry muffins to go and when we had them later they were also very good. Overall a very delicious and pleasant experience. The employees were all helpful and nice.

Charming cafe with delicious food - Edit
It was so nice to find this place after a long morning and to have such a surprisingly delicious lunch! My friend got a Buddha bowl with a very nice tzatziki-esque sauce and I got the club sandwich, which was much better than I was expecting! The olive bread was very good, the vegan bacon was some of the best I've ever had, and the homemade mayo made it all come together.
