Read moreDisappointed with this restaurant. When I went, the menu says the food is made without oil "except for organic olive oil for pan-fried items". I checked with the server, who assured me everything was made without oil. I had trouble believing the menu/server based on the food, but since it was both in writing on the menu and the staff said so, I didn't insist that they were wrong.
I went again, and I asked the server (different one) about oil, and he checked with the kitchen. He confirmed that most of the food was made with oil, including the foods I had eaten on my previous visit and foods that weren't pan-fried.
They had a deal advertised (posted in the restaurant), but the promo code wasn't working on their site. The manager said they wouldn't be able to honor the advertised deal.
I don't like to be too hard on a small vegan business, but they should do better.
The manager should've apologized about the inaccurate menu and promised to update it (the same menu saying they make food without oil is still listed on their website). Also, they should've honored the advertised deal or given an explanation/apology and taken down the ad posted by the front.
Oil is harmful for people who are trying to heal from certain conditions.

VegiOasis has such a comforting and positive vibe. The owner and staff are so friendly. Food was fantastic! We had the Teriyaki crispy chik’n tender bowl, Yakisoba and for dessert raspberry lemon raw cake. I dream about the Yakisoba.

We almost tried everything in their menu in one sitting. All the food were great. Everything was made with lot of care and you can feel that. All of their ingredients are organic. The servers took lot of care when we were there. My favorites were the beef bbq bowl and the beef curry. My wife loved the ramen. Also had their sundae which was delicious. They are carrying the legacy of Ana and Akira quite well. Will definitely go back.

VegiLicious is by far the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. The ambiance is very organic, earth tones, mixed with a splash of Asian culture. Music playing was that of Norah Jones when I walked in.
Read moreI had non chicken, chicken fingers as an appetizer along with a rasberry, blackberry lemonade with a bit of coconut water. Both amazing.
The entrees we had were a Misou Chicken and a Teriyaki chicken. Both served with a steamed veggie medley and their respective sauces. My side was a 5 rice mix and the other side was a 9 grain whole wheat bun.
Many more menu options!
Loved this locally owned and runned restaurant!

We had a wonderful dinner at VegiLicious tonight. My 15 month old daughter took a plate of steamed veggies and tofu to da house! We also had the Kobe BBQ Bowl, and a Japanese curry. Everything was delicious. So good that I ordered another entree to-go. We’re here on vacation so won’t be able to visit again this time, but I hope if you’re reading this you will go. If I’m ever down in this area again I will definitely be back at VegiLicious.
Read moreAlso wanted to mention, sometimes you have a meal at a restaurant and it’s the people that truly make it memorable. While the food was delicious, Ana really made us feel like we were family. She was so sweet and paid special attention to our daughter. I’ll remember her and this meal for a long time.

Find this little gem behind the Trader Joe's. Such a fun atmosphere & super friendly, passionate staff. It is just the 2 of them so bare with the wait time if they're busy. The menu has a ton of good stuff, including combos that get you more bang for your buck. I also highly recommend the desserts!

I took my boyfriend (who loves his meat) here for the first time and he loves it. I'm so happy that I don't have to compromise when I'm craving delicious Japanese food. I always get the onigri as an appetizer and one to go for a yummy snack later. Every dish we have ordered from there are amazing. I just wish I could have tried their hamburger steak. They no longer carry it.

$7.50 for 4 nuggets - Edit
I ordered on Postmates and was very disappointed that the $7.50 for chicken nuggets was for 4 nuggets of the store-bought brand. I could buy the whole bag in the store for that price. The tomato sauce that comes with them was also disappointing. Vegetables were fine. Miso soup was good. Overall, kind of disappointing. Perhaps i would have had a better experience in the actual restaurant.

We both got a combination meal (chick’n). My husbands was a quarter of the size of mine. This was a standard frozen soy fake chicken that you can purchase at the grocery store. The veggies were almost non-existent (frozen as well) and the rolls were store bought too. The soup was so-so. The wife was nice, but understand that politeness is part of the Japanese culture. Very disappointed being that there are so many 5 stars reviews (I’m wondering if these are fake reviews...hum). My advice: You will never be disappointed with Native Foods.

We decided to order take out! All of the food was packaged well and looked delicious! The couple that own it were very sweet! We live about 20 minutes away, so it had cooled down a bit. I would love to go back and eat in.
