I am outraged to learn that VegaNana owes €17,252.30 to three former employees and failed to properly pay contributions to social and health insurance. I am also aware of at least one other woman who has been owed money for years. I demand the immediate payment of all outstanding debts. Your failure to fulfill legal obligations and ignoring repeated requests is unacceptable.

I stand with Jana, Laura, and Veronika, and fully support the campaign for the fair payment of their wages!

I was really looking forward to visiting such an amazing looking vegan bakery in the center of Bratislava... unfortunately, finding out that the management of the bakery does not pay its employees is a huge disappointment. I fully support Jana, Laura, Veronika and other employees who you did not pay and did not treat them fairly.. Pay your employees!

I was really disappointed to find out that this establishment doesn’t pay their employees who are now in a battle with the owner for not being compensated for their work. This should not be a norm. Employees shouldn’t have to beg for their wages. I stand with all women who are being mistreated by this company. We should care about and be fair to all creatures, humans included. I hope this matter will resolve to satisfaction of said employees.

This place should be avoided by anyone who cares about the well-being of others, as the owner has demonstrably exploited her employees by not paying their wages and misusing their passion for the cause (offering vegan pastry products). These employees poured their hearts into the project. After several months, the situation became so dire that they were forced to borrow money from others just to cover their basic needs, while the owner continuously came up with excuses for not paying wages. Unfortunately, due to its location and being one of the few local vegan bakeries, this place became successful at the cost of exploiting its workers. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE YOUR FROM VISTING THIS PLACE unless you're willing to support practices that are completely contrary to the principles of veganism.

Do not recommend this place at all. Very bad and disgusting experience! Vegan bakery cares about animals, they completely neglect their employees. Not paying them on time and lying about it is just plain wrong. It's hypocritical to stand against animal exploitation while exploiting the people who work for you. Do not support this place!
