Do not skip the Orange Chicken - Edit
The orange chicken appetizer is incredible, seriously tempted to swing by here every day for the rest of our trip just for that. But the ramen and drinks were also fantastic. Happened to come here on a Thursday night and was excited to learn all ramen dishes were only $150 Mx! Great spot with friendly staff and the patio dining was nice.

Probamos el shoyu ramen y el mapotofu ramen, ambos estuvieron deliciosos! El mapotofu ramen es el crossover que no sabía que necesitaba en mi vida, realmente sabía a un muy buen mabodofu/mapotofu pero con fideos y sopita deliciosa acompañándolo 😱❤️ los fideos estaban en su punto y aunque el menú decía que era ligeramente picante, yo sí me enchilé bastante jaja (soy poco resistente al picante). También pedimos karaage y aunque no esperábamos que tuviera un sabor medio dulce, nos gustó bastante. El taiyaki y mochi con fresa de postre estuvieron 10/10, el punto perfecto de dulce! Ya queremos regresar!!

Probamos por primera vez vegan ramen Mei en la sucursal de Puerto Vallarta. Nos enamoramos desde la primera vez que fuimos y en ese viaje regresamos al menos otras 3 veces, sin embargo se terminó el viaje y nos quedamos con el anhelo de regresar alguna vez. Hace poco nos enteramos que abrió la sucursal de CDMX y desde el primer momento nos propusimos hacer el viaje Puebla-CDMX con el fin de poder volver a probar su comida.

4.5 stars if HappyCow would let me. I ate here recently and got the classic ramen that the menu recommends, and I can confirm it's some good ramen. Nice shiitake mushrooms and all the veggies tasted fresh, noodles were nice and tender. The broth was just ever so slightly missing something, maybe it was a little lack of umami, maybe just a little under-salted for sodium addicted self. Maybe a little extra fat in there, like a small chunk of salted vegan butter would really set it off.

I also had the ginger chicken (seitan, I think?) and it's worth ordering for sure. Crispy outside and chewy but not tough inside and served covered in sliced green onions, with a portion large enough for two people.
Staff here were super friendly too, and overall it was a great experience and I'll be back. I just wish HappyCow would start allowing half stars, since I'm very very picky with when I hand out a five star rating, but this deserves a little better than a four.
