Out of most food and slow service - Edit
I was really excited to try this place but it ended up not being very good. After we sat down, the wait staff told us they were out of almost everything. They only had 2 appetizers, 1 salad, and 2 entrees. My husband and I ordered drinks and they they came back and said they didn't have either of those. It took forever to get our food. So long, that my husband had to leave because he was trying to go to another place that was closing. So we ate our food and took his to go. When we requested the check, it took a really long time to get that too. We were there so long! Positives was that the food they did have was SO good. I wish they had more of it. And the staff was really, really nice. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or didn't get a food supply in or something, but it was a really frustrating experience. Given the great reviews here, I'm thinking maybe we just went on a bad night. We went on a Sunday and Sun-Mon seems pretty dead in Tallinn.

Cool place! - Edit
The food was great, the staff was really friendly and the interior had a really fresh design! If you happen to arrive to Tallinn by ferry and you want to eat before checking in to your hotel this place is great since it is pretty much on the way to anywhere from the port!

Delicious but not hot enough Lasagna - Edit
Beautiful restaurant. Beautiful patio. Live jazz singer. Good lasagna, but as another reviewer noted, it wasn’t hot when it got to my table. I ate it anyway because I was late for the airport. It was really good. Probably would have been better warm.

Yum - Edit
Great service (Mia H) and a relaxed, comfortable ambiance with constantly refreshed art on the walls and a deliciously revolving food offering. The hummus and bread starter (snack option for me today) was delicious.

Amazing experience every time. Oasis really is the top vegan place in Tallinn. - Edit
So many positive emotions with Oasis that don't know where to start 🙂
Read moreI can't help but compliment the selection of cakes. Absolutely delicious! Each and every one of them (yep, tried all of them over time). Often also buy these cakes for special events and everyone has always loved them a lot.
The menu feels always fresh and has so many tasty options. All the starters are something to experience and from main meals I often take pumpkin puree soup or the Hot Mama burger 😄 Enjoy!
Another thing that I really appreciate is the atmosphere and vibe. A nice backdrop of conciouslly chosen music. The team can always be seen smailing and on some days even the owner himself is serving tables and greeting people. Oasis is a cosy place to go to with friends or family.

Huge portions - Edit
Oasis have welcoming staff and huge food portions. Food was nice. Really enjoyed my lasagne and strawberry oreo cake was the best. However prices are quite expensive, and also the room was very dark and very loud music, not cozy.

Not what we expected - Edit
We really would have wanted to like this place more, but it left us a bit cold. The menu sounded amazing and it was difficult to choose from all the delicious sounding dishes. We unded up having the spinach pie, small cheese platter, aubergine dish snd marula salad. The spinach pie was fine, but a bit bland. The cheese platter didn't have all the different cheeses listed in the menu - it's ok to have a changing selection but that should be stated in the menu. The marula salad was basically a lot of salad leaves with a few crumbs of vegan feta, three olives and a jar of capers, and felt really overpriced. The aubergine dish was nice and tasty.
Read moreAll in all, we expected a bit more because of the price range, but the dishes didn't meet the expectations. On the other hand the drink menu was exciting and there were also several interesting mocktail options. We would have loved to try the pavlova dessert, but we didn't realize the kitchen closes already an hour before the closing time, and missed the deadline by 5 minutes. We got a slice of cherry cake instead and it was lovely and moist.

Too expensive - Edit
I had to try it out, since it's a fully vegan place, but for me the prices were way too high for the quality and the size of the dishes. Everything tasted good, but it was nothing special. However, the interior was beautiful and they have live music sometimes. The staff was also really friendly.

Would not recommend - Edit
Our pasta was served cold. After we asked to heat it up we waited quite long and what we got was just as cold as before (??). Very friendly waiter but the food was very disappointing and the service was so slow. Not recommended at all, sorry.

Not a relaxing experience - Edit
I wanted to love this place but unfortunately the quality wasn't great for the price. The place looked rather messy at lunchtime, with instrument cases and stuff on the floor, like they were in the middle of organizing an event. We had booked in advance and the place was mostly empty but for some reason we were seated at the worst possible table, where people were walking past us in a constant stream. Like having lunch in a waiting room. Service was friendly but kind of slow. Food was OK but not great. I've had better vegan food at non-vegan places in Tallinn. The cakes were all raw cakes and sugar free (why?!) and the one I had tasted like health food. ☹ The ambient background music was too loud and there was a DJ who told stories but I couldn't make out much of what they were saying. Overall the place had an amateurish feel to it, and our experience was more weird and erratic than relaxing. However they did have great beer and coffee and savoury pasties. 👍

A vegan oasis in Tallinn 😝❤️🌱 - Edit
Such a beautiful place to eat in Tallinn. We ate as a group of 8 outside during the evening 🌆. It was amazing. One vegan and 7 meat-eaters, and we all enjoyed it a lot! I had a delicious cocktail, an eggplant main, and an oreo cake for dessert! 🍹 One of the meals got mixed up and came out late though 😔

Tasty but the bread - Edit
The restaurant has plenty of decorations. I had the hot mama burger which was tasty, but the bread was not fresh, or burnt, I am not sure. Especially the bottom part was too hard.

Could use it for a celebration - Edit
I ordered a lasagna and it was pretty good (stuffed with vegetables instead of soya mince which I would normally expect in lasagna) but a bit to pricey for me, 17 euros. A cacao was also a good cacao.

Leave your comfort zone and just dive in! - Edit
Located inside one of the landmarks of modern Tallinn, this place enrobes you into a well-tempered pleasant silence with nice backdrop music. The plants give an exotic appeal. There was a live podcast event going on and the place had many people inside interested in the topic. Despite this, the service was efficient and they were asking it everything was in order. I had room for just a light snack, so the spinach pie tasted awesome and the pumpkin soup was wickedly good. I would never miss a desert, so I ordered a raw cheese cake that was out of this world. A good Sex in the Oasis provides a perfect ending, that is the name of the cocktail, a famous base with a local twist.

Inattentiveness, Spicy Overkill - Edit
Having not seen my waiter for 20 minutes, I decided to set off on a journey through Vegan Oasis to find him. "Maybe he went that way." said a female employee. Then, a couple of seconds later, we spotted him, off in the distance, attending to other customers. So I finally was able to pay and leave. That was how it ended. It began by having to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to take my order.
Read moreServers on roller skates at fine dining restaurants I do not infer here, but considering the fact that I was a party of one, and it was lunchtime, this by common sense, presupposes faster service.
There is a little store on the premises to browse. A Crackle Barrel vegan restaurant. This is good--originality.
The food: Kerala sauce was on the Hot Mama Burger, which I ordered. But this is not your average hot sauce. It contains two chilies, one is Habanero, which contains Capsaicin, and that alone will irritate and burn your insides. This was fine by me, since I'm a spicy food [censored], but the spice level was so extremely high, that it literally killed the taste of the burger completely. Tasted a dime size of hot sauce years ago that started burning a hole in my tongue, so I'm not impressed by the juvenile intention of "our burger is real hot baby." It's equivalent to putting five shots of vodka in a mixed drink--hillbilly stuff.
And finally, the high prices were not reflective of the service, the food quality, or the amount. It is after all, the Rotermann Quarter in downtown Tallinn...gotta pay that rent!

Too expencive and bad service - Edit
Missing items on the menu, slow service and bad timing, we had main course before wine and dessert before we were ready, social media gave different picture about the place so we were disappointed how our dinner turned out. Also we spent almost 100€ and it’s way too much for food that feels more like home cooked than actual fine dining. Also feels bad to give this two star rating for all vegan restaurant but unfortunately we can’t recommed Oasis.
